The last time I was there, the twin towers were still standing. So, where did you go? Were you on top of the Empire State?

Best wishes for the New Year!!!

cha,

thanks. i just believe that one has to treaure the moment when one can still call oneself lucky. so why not happy, even facing such an economic uncertainty? right?

may,

i'm fine. thanks. obviously, you haven't received anything from me.

i'd say if i've ever ditched hk for london then it's easy for me to do that again. this time to london. nyc is such an amazing city. easily more attractive than london. at least, more theatres. and more night out spots.

yes, i went to nyc once which was fifteen years ago. unfortunately, in an escorted tour. so you may understand why i can only feel the city this time.

okie, one drawback. if one doesn't have any access to internet in nyc like a tourist of me, one will know nothing about football (the sport that the american call soccer).

Hi 微豆,

Thanks. Hope you'll have a happy new year.

No, I didn't climb the Empire Building. Instead, I went to the Top of the Rock.

MoMA, Times Square (definitely cuz I stayed in the Times Sq), Downtown etc. Not many cuz the trip was short. Only four nights (three days effectively). For sure, not enough. NYC is just so amazing.

Is Canada very cold now?
