If I listened long enough to you
I'd find a way to believe that it's all true
Knowing that you lied straight-faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe
If I gave you time to change my mind
I'd find a way just to leave the past behind
Knowing that you lied straight-faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe

Doris Lessing...
Hi Michelle,
At least you read and speak English - you are reading Doris Lessing, apart from Chinese and French. I envy you. One has to know at least three languages.
Btw which one are you reading? I haven't touched her books for almost a year. Iris Murdoch's nor Daphne Du Maurier's. The three i loved so much last year.
'Mara and Dann', seems its an interesting adventure story... i think i would start it tonight...
Michells,
Isn't it part of a five-episodes story?
no i don't think so... hey i've just found this in the web : http://www.abc.net.au/rn/bookshow/stories/2007/2058351.htm
ps typo 'Mara and Darn' not Dann...
Michelle,
Yes, she did. Honestly this is how i know her.
