以前﹐在香港的時候﹐每錯過了愛華頓的比賽﹐或直播或錄影精華﹐我都會跑上YOU TUBE看看別人上載去的那些片段。可是﹐搬到歐洲生活後﹐這個方法有點行不通。因為版權問題﹐YOU TUBE不容許我在網上看英國聯賽的片段。當然﹐也就包括了愛華頓那一些。

縱然如此﹐我倒還是喜歡到YOU TUBE去。我會找尋那些久違了的港產片﹑電視劇集。正如林海峰在其一個TALK SHOW裡所言﹐有時候YOU TUBE的確比正版的DVD還要齊全。早陣子﹐我便重溫了《足球小將》﹑《香港八二》和《雙聲報喜》。

當然﹐也不是只有港產片和香港電視劇集。許多荷李活經典電影﹐你也可以在YOU TUBE裡找到。不過﹐你倒要逐個片段來看﹐總不能一氣呵成。我是一個CHEAP精。我實在不大介意這樣細小的麻煩。於是﹐我重溫了一部我很喜歡的老電影﹕《猜猜誰來進晚餐》。我也看了一部份《戰爭與和平》。

最近﹐我在YOU TUBE裡找到了一些以前香港的錄像。我想﹐很珍貴的罷。是二次大戰前的香港。

很想跟大家分享。

Thanks so much for sharing the above clips about HK, they are very rare film footage indeed... It's another occasion when I feel like the creators of Youtube deserve a medal for public service!

yes, they are. and you can find much more rare footage on youtube. about peking, about london. but i haven't found any about dublin yet.

i have a little reservation about your suggestion of giving a medal to the creators of youtube. to me, it's simply an internet advertising machine. just in the meantime an individual can post something which is "of interest to public".
