前光華文化中心主任路平小姐在其一篇文章裡﹐有這樣的一句說話﹕「...少了隨性﹑少了即興﹐便少了單純的浪漫。」

這是我同意的。從來﹐浪漫都應該是不經意的。都不需要精心計算﹐也不需要刻意經營。所以﹐我經常以為﹐我是一個單純浪漫的人。因為我不喜歡事情早有安排。

早陣子﹐參加一位老友的婚宴﹐看到一切給安排得井井有條﹐秩序井然﹐我心裡面著實有點怕。怕的是什麼﹖我也一時說不出個所以然來。或者﹐就是怕把婚禮搞得如此實實際際﹐沒有太多錯誤的想像空間。畢竟﹐隨遇而安﹐方是我的座右銘。

提及的那篇文章﹐標題為《婚禮的冥思》﹐收錄在路平小姐最新的那本文集《香港已成往事》裡面。

文章裡﹐作者說﹐「一般來說﹐香港的婚禮充滿人間的煙火。在酒店擺酒的中式婚宴﹐從請柬到賓客﹐處處需要準備的功夫。一場周全的婚禮﹐牽涉了太多事物性的工作......提醒我們婚禮本來是兩個家庭﹑或者是兩個家族的事。正因為婚禮這麼瑣碎實際﹐婚宴才更像個分水嶺﹕婚禮同時意味著棄守﹐對於浪漫的棄守﹐就好像聽著婚姻誓言總有莫名的衝動﹐同時卻有某種悲涼﹕愛到天涯海角﹐愛到天荒地老﹐TILL DEATH DO US APART﹐直到死亡讓他們分開。」

讀了這一段文字後﹐我好像有所領會。我竟然老是記著這一段說話。

月初﹐在香港的時候﹐那位新婚的老友撥冗跟我見了一面。我們談了許多事情。突然間﹐我想起袋子裡帶著了路平小姐那本文集﹐便嚷著要跟那位老友唸一唸那一段文字。可是﹐可能因為才剛在書店買回來關係﹐竟然一時間找不到那篇文章﹐也就找不到那一段文字。

老友說﹕「也不急在一時。以後找到才跟我說亦不晚。」我知道﹐他其實怕我讀得興起﹐停不了口。從來﹐我都是一個愛發表理論的人。包括自己的理論和別人的理論。

於是﹐當終於給我找到後﹐便決定在此抄下那段本來要在香港在老友面前說的話。

也記起了另一位剛剛結了婚的老友的說話﹕「每一個人也有其理想的婚禮。那包括你自己的父母﹐和你將來的外父﹑外母。無奈地﹐每個人的理想婚禮卻又不盡相同。」

Shouldn't your name be Chyn now, huh?

Every one day-dreams about wedding. I'm no exception. But it's only meaningful when there are two day-dreaming of the same wedding.

I have never heard of a man will day-dream of his wedding (it is a nightmare to 90% of them), you are really an exception.
and I still prefer people calling me as Ms Y.
and congrat that there are 2 people day-dreaming of a same wedding!!

wedding reception is a formality. no doubt...but u may always include some surprise/ romance in your plan nei~~~ haa....

Men don't tell what they are day dreaming. They want someone who is special to them to guess what they are.

Btw no one said that one won't daydream a nightmare. =P

Yes, i like that book very much. i'd say it's similar to Daisy Wong but in much better chinese. I got it last week in Mongkok.
