Unfortunately.

Having said that, I still think that what the curriculum of HK can provide to the children may not be sufficient to equip them to face the the future challenges in globalisation. HK is just too small. The Man Who Loves Evertonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00965336876092359067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20003618.post-91039479699890013002009-05-13T03:27:00.000+08:002009-05-13T03:27:00.000+08:00森林,

Otherwise I won't dream of having my children in Eton or Harrow or Winchester.

Yes, it's important for children to appreciate diversity and accept differences. But i don't think a snob won't appreciate diversity and accept differences. I think that sounds a bit snobbish and elitist. Take it to the extreme: Does it mean parents should segregate their kids from other "not-my-own-kind" children according to class, race, religion, values and beliefs? I think it is more important for children to appreciate diversity, accept differences, and learn the skills to establish their own right/wrong regime (with guidance from parents, teachers and elders, where required).

HaricotHaricot 微豆https://www.blogger.com/profile/13735177985545566818noreply@blogger.com
